I know I’ve kind of fallen off the face of the earth for the last week, but fear not, I survived the holiday! I had a nice Christmas with my family without wanting to run out of the house screaming, which is a success in my book. I gave and recieved some nice presents and a good time was had by all. For New Years Eve some friends came over and we passed the hours until midnight with food, beer, and lots of games. Then we watched the ball drop and popped confetti and champagne and had some more fun. On New Years Day Teddy and I headed over to my parents house and watched the Mummers parade, which is a big tradition for us being Philly pholk!
Overall I had a really good holiday season. I felt friendship and love and the Christmas spirit. I remembered that I have people in my life who truly like me for who I am, and that realization was the best gift of all. For all of those people I am truly thankful, because they make me feel loved not only at Christmas, but all through the year.
That sounds like you’ve had lovely holidays! Hope this year a fabulous one for you, your family and Teddy!
Glad you’re back, and that the holidays treated you well.
