I’m pretty awesome. Not only did I accomplish everything I set out to do on Friday and have an awesome day (I still have to put up Bre’s drunken birthday pictures later, hee hee hee) but I also managed to go to the craft store and buy all the fabric I need to make curtains and drapes for the downstairs windows in my house. As it turns out, material for 8 windows is really expensive, so I’ve decided that these curtains will last me until I die, and even then I’ll pull a Sound of Music and make clothes out of them so they don’t go to waste.
Having a super Friday = A
Anyway, I’m making great progress on my curtains and they’re going to look super awesome when they’re all done (I’ll be sure to post up pictures when they’re finally up!) Hopefully I’ll have them all done in a few weeks, since I’m making them all by hand, like really by hand, without a sewing machine because I’m obstinantly stubborn like that. When they’re all done and looking snazzy I’ll be able to glow in the fact that I made them all by myself. It’s going to be sweet.
Making my own curtains = B
I worked on my curtains a lot over the weekend, which I spent down the shore with my parents for Father’s Day. It was pretty nice, I sewed as we watched a movie and we walked the boardwalk and played mini golf at Congo Falls (I won!!) My sister didn’t come down because she “had to work”, which totally proves that I’m the better daughter, heh heh heh. And I think my dad had a nice time just hanging out with me because they miss me a lot since I’ve moved out (my mom cried when I skipped out on going over for dinner the other week – oops!).
Being the best daughter ever = C
People crying because I’m not around = D
A+B+C+D = I am super awesomely cool. Mwah hah hah.
